Lucas has over 23 years in the restaurant industry, specifically focused on development, management, safety and facilitation. With his hands in various ground-up restaurant projects, then leading into kitchen design, safety implementation, menu creation and even starting and growing his own restaurant, Lucas gained the skills for construction, business management and safety, finding safety to be a common thread in every industry.

Although Lucas has been involved many years in the restaurant industry, his education started in Geology and received a degree from Instituto Tecnologico de Cd. Madero, Tamaulipas, in Geological Engineering with specialty in Hydrocarbon and a Minor in Chemistry Laboratories Technician. He then advanced to receive a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Texas at Dallas, TX.

Today Lucas has a concrete trucking company and participates in Community Service work such as Feed the Homeless, Disaster Relief and Fallen Officers/Soldiers. He enjoys educating the workforce in various safety hazards he has come across in the restaurant and construction industries. Lucas is fluent in English and Spanish (speak, read, write).
